Did you know that the $10 annual membership fee to join the Friends of Maud Marks Library helps fund many of the children’s programs and activities at the library? One of the most popular activities is the craft kits made by our very own Board member and Membership Chair, Denise Gaw. Each week she makes 75 kits that children can take home to complete. Especially during the pandemic, many parents were so grateful for something creative for their children to do. Here are some photos of the completed kits. 

The kits range from Summer Reading Programs kits (the rainbow) to special Library events like Star Wars Day, Asian Pacific Heritage Month (the pagoda), Back to School (the backpack), Lunar New Year (dragon puppet) to the weekly activity craft kits. Thank you for helping to support the enrichment programs at the library through your membership with the Friends of Maud Marks Library and your purchases at our monthly used book sales.
